Running History

I started running in middle school with Track being my main focus and running with my dad and sister for fun outside of season practices. I ran for the high school cross country team as an 8th grader because my sister had gotten me interested in cross country rather than track. I ran at Cabell Midland cross country for 5 years and track for 4 years. I was part of the state championship team for 3 years and was All-State my senior year (2005). I decided to focus on academics in college, but I continue to run recreationally with my dog and friends.

Motivation

I was initially motivated by the competition of running, but now it is mainly for my own enjoyment.

Running History

Started running around with my brothers and sisters when I was about 2 months old. I was worried when I was taken from my farm that my new family would be boring. Luckily they both love to explore outside and run too. I mainly run with my mom. My dad takes it to seriously, he's always telling me to run relaxed and smooth, I just want to be silly and goofy. Now days I like to just run local races. Its awesome because everyone knows me, they're always yelling my name and petting me (I don't even have to come in first place).

Motivation
If I don't run, I'm afraid dad wont let me hang out at the shop anymore.

Favorite Running Memory
The first time a couple little people watched me run on the treadmill, they thought it was great. I thought it was funny the way they laughed. I don't think its particularly funny when I see people running on the treadmill though.
